Vinnavar maruthuvam (Divine treatment) 2. Maanida maruthuvam (Rational
treatment) 3. Asura maruthuvam (Surgical treatment). Treatment is primarily
focused to bring the vitiated doshas to the normal equilibrium state by means
of medicines and pathyam. In Siddha, 3 major classification of surgical
treatments are being practiced. It includes 25 types of surgical treatment
methods performed with 25 types of traditional surgical instruments.
